Through the United States Ambassador's Fund for HIV/AIDS Relief (AFHR), funded by PEPFAR, WADO implemented a comprehensive 18-month HIV prevention, testing, and care program for People Who Use Drugs (PWUD) across ten wards in the Ilemela and Nyamagana districts of Mwanza City Council. As a youth-led organization committed to public health and human rights, WADO delivers integrated services addressing both health and socioeconomic barriers driving HIV vulnerability among key populations.
